I'm poised to deliver a singularity,
a pithy black hole,
a spot from which there's no escape
once key or pen is lifted;

Like a tree
We grow up from a sapling
Before we become sturdy
Our roots cling more tightly
To the ground with time
As our horizon expand
We grow our own branches
And grow our own leaves

Ship on fire, smoke engulfing.

The howling is sad and threatening, like a lone wolf crying for company.
Now the wind roars breathy in the trees,
which bend yielding to the force, but resilient in submi

It is said that mindful eating
can help with weight loss.
Being fully aware in the moment fulfills
without overindulgence.
Savoring every morsel and minute
fills the hunger pot, before the belly fills.
But what of conversation?
What of admiring the view?
What of smelling the roses?
What of enjoying the music?
Can you really eat

On the bright side all shadows are behind you.
We never see the dark side of the moon
which always shows its bright face.
Like clown heads in the fair
bright smiling face gets fed more often
with balls feeding hungry bright heads.
On the bright side all shadows are behind you
On the dark side everything is in shadows.
The happiness habit focu

A lie begets a lie begets a lie
When you say good-bye to truth, its bye, bye.
For there's no way to tell the difference
between what is truth stretched out tight and taut
and lines of lies hanging there enticing a play-out.
Telling lies is highly infectious, a game of dare and bluff,
growing worse, as lies feed on each other like
