Sedoka
Sedoka, a Japanese verse form that evolved from ancient songs, consistx of 6 lines of 5-7-7-5-7-7 syllables respectively. Traditionally, the second katauta (stanza) is on the same topic as the first katauta, but in a different way. There is usually a twist, or change in direction, in lines 3 (sharp) and 5 (gentle).
